With 30 years in the automotive industry, Derek brings deep dealership expertise to his role at Sym-Tech Dealer Services. Before joining our team in 2010, he held leadership roles across sales, management, and multi-dealership operations, including as President and COO.

As President, Derek continues to build on Sym-Tech’s leading position in Canada while leveraging Amynta’s capabilities across the warranty market. Within our team, Derek has held a variety of leadership positions and has been instrumental in driving the F&I Performance Solution for Dealers that continues to drive strong growth at Sym-Tech.

With over 25 years of global leadership experience in the automotive and financial services industries, Ian has led organizations across five countries — Brazil, Canada, Germany, the U.S., and the U.K. Before joining Sym-Tech, he held senior executive roles with BMW Group and other international organizations, guiding large-scale business transformations and driving performance through innovation, strategy, and operational excellence.

As Chief Operating Officer, Ian oversees company-wide operations, partnering with the executive team to strengthen Sym-Tech’s leadership in the Canadian automotive market. A principled and people-focused leader, he is passionate about developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and advancing technology-driven growth across the organization.

A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Alana brings over 22 years of leadership experience in both the automotive and financial industries. With her expertise, she helps Sym-Tech build a high-performance culture, fostering diversity and inclusion while attracting, developing and rewarding top talent.

Alana also plays a key role in our three Performance Centres, ensuring a unique and engaging employee experience that transcends the development and performance of our dealer clients and OEM partners. Alana is also a trusted advisor to the Executive Management team, providing both strategic and practical leadership to drive Sym-Tech’s business objectives.

Annie has more than 25 years of automotive industry experience. She built her career at Volvo Canada, Mazda Canada and Hyundai Auto Canada with increasingly more senior positions in Sales, Network Development, Fixed Operations and Customer Experience. Prior to joining Sym-Tech, she was the Director of Customer Service at Hyundai Auto Canada.

Over the past 8 years with us, Annie has grown alongside the company, becoming a Chief Partnership Officer. She is responsible for building a strong pipeline of new OEM and partner opportunities, leading client contract negotiations, identifying strategic growth areas, and driving initiatives to improve the efficiency and impact of existing partnerships.

Chris brings with him over 25 years of experience in the automotive field. Before joining Sym-Tech, Chris built an impressive resume with experience in dealership operations, creditor insurance, re-insurance, manufacturing and logistics.

As Vice President of Participating Programs, Chris is responsible for managing all of Sym-Tech’s Participating programs across Canada while continuing to improve and grow our current business and relationships with participating dealer partners.

With more than 20 years of diverse automotive industry experience, Denis has been a key contributor to Sym-Tech’s success since 2014. Within our team, he has held several key positions, including F&l Specialist, District Manager, Regional Manager, and Director Performance Centre.

Now, as Vice President, Sales for Eastern Canada & Eastern Ontario, Denis continues his journey with Sym-Tech, driving growth and delivering value to customers and stakeholders. As a Certified High-Performance Coach® and fluent in English and French, Denis enhances his ability to connect with and serve diverse clientele across Canada.

Francis Vallée brings over 23 years of leadership experience in the automotive and insurance sectors, driving growth and strengthening dealer partnerships. He has helped clients achieve consistently superior sales performance and business results, along with industry-leading levels of employee engagement.

He has played an important role in Quebec by influencing industry regulations at the provincial and federal levels and held executive roles at Beneva and SSQ. Francis holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and an International Optime license in Sales Leadership. A dedicated volunteer, he also serves as Chair of the Cyclo-Défi IUCPQ event committee.

An accomplished executive-level leader with over 18 years of experience driving high-performing sales teams, Steve MacIsaac brings deep expertise in automotive sales, F&I, and performance coaching. His ability to build dynamic sales teams, implement effective sales strategies, and cultivate strong industry relationships has consistently driven business development and growth.

At Sym-Tech, he’s responsible for strategizing, implementing, and successfully achieving ambitious Sales and New Business Acquisition targets. He also leads and manages Sym-Tech’s Field team from Southwestern Ontario to British Columbia.

Frank brings over 20 years of finance and leadership experience to Sym-Tech, with a career spanning the automotive, financial services, and consumer electronic verticals. A CPA and York University graduate, he has held senior roles at BMW Canada, Hyundai Capital Canada, and most recently CPA Ontario, where he led financial planning and executive reporting.

At Sym-Tech, Frank oversees financial operations and long-term planning, partnering closely with the executive team to drive strategy, performance, and sustainable growth. He is committed to building strong teams and fostering a collaborative, data-driven culture.

With over 15 years of experience in software development, infrastructure, and security, Imran brings extensive expertise to Sym-Tech customers, having held IT leadership roles at Centric Health Management and LifeMark Health.

Since joining Sym-Tech in 2016, he has advanced through key roles, including Applications Manager, Manager of Data & Integrations, and most recently, Director of Software Development. Imran holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Osmania University and a Master’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Northern Illinois University. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

With over 40 years in the automotive industry, Lindsay has held senior leadership roles across OEM, dealer, and financial services sectors in Canada and the U.S. He previously served as President of Jaguar Land Rover Canada, President & CEO of BMW Group Canada, and VP of Operations at BMW Group Financial Services (U.S.).

A two-time Chair of the Global Automakers of Canada and Director at the Automotive Business School of Canada, Lindsay brings deep industry expertise to his role as Chief Operating Officer at Sym-Tech. He leads strategic initiatives and operational excellence to drive growth and dealer success.
